Our nationally-awarded Pro Shop and Team Sales department seeks a highly motivated
individual to fill a dual role. This individual must be energetic, dependable, professional, and
have excellent people and customer-service skills.
The Pro Shop role involves interacting with customers in a retail environment to provide
outstanding service selling tennis apparel, shoes, racquets, and accessories. Additional
responsibilities include processing sales transactions, re-stocking merchandise, displaying new
products, inventory counts, and maintaining a neat and organized selling floor.
The Team Sales role requires the individual to assist in all aspects of inside sales to middle
schools, high schools, and colleges. IRC currently services over 2,500 schools across the
country with team uniforms, court equipment/gear, and tennis balls. This is a very fast-paced
position which requires an energetic individual who is capable of multi-tasking. Responsibilities
include handling incoming phone orders/inquiries, preparing and shipping orders, daily
communication with our vendors and clients, and processing invoices for payment.
This dual-role position is based out of Indianapolis Racquet Club located on the northside of
Indianapolis at 8249 Dean Road. Knowledge of tennis is helpful. A flexible schedule is
required, which may include some evenings and weekends.
