Team Selling Specialist


Full-Time

IRC Team Sports, a division of the Indianapolis Racquet Club Pro Shops, a TIA award winning Tennis Pro Specialty tennis retailer, seeks a proven and motivated salesperson to fill a full-time Team Selling Specialist position.

This inside sales position, responding to the Director of IRC Team Sports, is focused on developing long term relationships and driving sales to High Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Summer Tennis Programs across the country.  Responsibilities include executing sales to endusers; servicing existing clients with their product needs; cultivation of new business and clients; order placement and follow-through; and working closely with vendor representatives.

The Team Selling Specialist will exhibit a strong skill set including: a professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude; excellent communication skills, including phone and email; strong organizational skills, including attention to detail; a motivated, and proactive nature; strong statistical skills; and a comfort level and expertise with retail POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and Word.  Ideally this person will have experience within the tennis industry and a love and passion for the sport of tennis.

Compensation for this full-time position includes an hourly rate, commission, multiple sales and profit growth incentives, and full-time employee benefits.

Pro Shop Assistant Manager - Selling Floor


Full-Time

The Indianapolis Racquet Club Pro Shops, a Tennis Industry Association awarded and recognized tennis specialty retailer, seeks a proven and motivated sales leader to direct and manage the selling floor of IRC’s flagship location, and serve as a member of the management team.

The Pro Shop Assistant Manager, reporting to the Director of Retail Operations, is the management lead on the Dean Road Pro Shop selling floor, focusing on driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to members, clients, and customers.  Responsibilities include leading, motivating, hiring, and training the selling sales staff; creating and executing proactive sales strategies and client development; personally interacting and selling to end users; inventory turn and management, including floor merchandising and rotation, visual displays, timely stock fill-in, inventory counts, and selling floor cleaning and maintenance; social media marketing and promotion; and preparation and execution of an annual pro shop physical inventory.

The Pro Shop Assistant Manager will exhibit a strong skill set including: a professional positive attitude and motivating team building focus; excellent communication and social skills; strong organizational skills, including attention to detail; ability to problem solve and deal with adversity; strong statistical skills; and comfort and expertise with retail POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and Word.  Ideally this person will have experience within the tennis industry and a love and passion for the sport of tennis.

Compensation for this full-time position includes a base salary, monthly profit incentive, an annual sales and growth incentive, and full-time employee benefits.

Pro Shop Selling Specialist

The Indianapolis Racquet Club Pro Shops, a Tennis Industry Association awarded and recognized tennis specialty retailer, seeks a proven and motivated selling specialist for the selling floor of IRC’s flagship location. 

The Pro Shop Tennis Selling Specialist, reporting to the Selling Floor Manager, is a member of the selling floor sales team at the Dean Road Pro Shop focusing on driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to members, clients, and customers.  Responsibilities include creating and executing proactive sales strategies and client development; personally interacting and selling to end users; and inventory turn and management, including regular stock fill-in of the selling floor, physical stock counts, and general floor merchandising, maintenance, and cleaning.

The Tennis Selling Specialist will exhibit a strong skill set including: a professional, positive attitude and motivating team building focus; excellent communication and social skills; strong organizational skills, including attention to detail; ability to problem solve, and deal with adversity; strong statistical skills; and comfort and expertise with retail POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and Word.  Ideally this person will have experience within the tennis industry and a love and passion for the sport of tennis.

Racquet Stringer


Part-Time

Our nationally-awarded Pro Shop seeks an experienced racquet stringer.  Stringing experience or USRSA certification is preferred but not required.  This individual must possess a high attention to detail, be dependable, professional, and have excellent people and customer-service skills.

A flexible schedule is required, which may include evenings and weekends.

This role involves racquet stringing while also interacting with customers in a retail environment to provide outstanding service selling tennis apparel, shoes, racquets, and accessories.  Additional responsibilities include processing sales transactions, re-stocking merchandise, displaying new products, inventory counts, and maintaining a neat and organized selling floor.

This position is based out of Indianapolis Racquet Club, located on the northside of Indianapolis at 8249 Dean Road.

Pro Shop Associate


Part-Time

Our nationally-awarded Pro Shop seeks a highly motivated individual for our retail sales position. This individual must be energetic, dependable, professional, and have excellent people and customer-service skills.

This role involves interacting with customers in a retail environment to provide outstanding service selling tennis apparel, shoes, racquets, and accessories.  Additional responsibilities include processing sales transactions, re-stocking merchandise, displaying new products, inventory counts, and maintaining a neat and organized selling floor.

This position is based out of Indianapolis Racquet Club, located on the northside of Indianapolis at 8249 Dean Road.  Knowledge of tennis is helpful.  A flexible schedule is required, which may include some evenings and weekends.

Front Desk Associate


Part-Time

Front Desk team members must be personable and highly customer service oriented.  Responsibilities include greeting and welcoming members and guests, taking incoming telephone calls, and handling cash register transactions.  Previous experience in tennis (as a player or instructor), sales, or customer service is helpful, but not required.

Member Services Representative


The Indianapolis Racquet Club is seeking a Member Services Representative for our IRC Dean location. We are seeking a highly motivated, dependable, energetic individual who is comfortable working in a team as well as individually. Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of customer service is essential. 

Responsibilities include working with IRC members and prospective members in person, via email and over the phone to promote IRC activities. Additional tasks may include, but are not limited to; providing program information, registering new members, handling member issues, Club tours, special events, coordinating leagues, marketing, and program billing. Staff also provide support to our Front Desk Team. 

Tennis knowledge is preferred but not required. Candidates should be comfortable with Microsoft Office. This position is full time and will require occasional weekends. Benefits include discounts towards on-court activities and within our award winning pro shop.
